State offers $600,000 contract to help Tier 2 building owners meet Clean Buildings rules

The Washington State Department of Commerce is looking for an organization to help owners of Tier 2 buildings understand and comply with the state’s Clean Buildings Performance Standard, with $600,000 available for the work.

The Washington State Department of Commerce is looking for an organization to help owners of Tier 2 buildings understand and comply with the state’s Clean Buildings Performance Standard, with $600,000 available for the work.

The selected contractor will develop an outreach plan, conduct outreach, host resource fairs and provide technical assistance to Tier 2 building owners, according to the request for proposals Commerce released Oct. 1.

Questions about the request will be accepted through Oct. 16. Proposals are due by email to CBPSGrants@commerce.wa.gov by 5 p.m. Nov. 2, and Commerce expects to notify proposers by Nov. 23.

The request for proposals is available in the state’s Clean Buildings RFP folder and on Washington’s Electronic Business Solution (WEBS) vendor site.
