Vulca’ Mediterranean Market has relocated from its original storefront at 412 Pacific Avenue to a new space at 328 Pacific Avenue, situated on Quincy Square. The business expects to open its doors at the new location by early October.

The market now occupies the southwest corner of the 110-year-old Dietz Building, a spot that has seen little use since the closure of the last of three drugstores decades ago. According to the owners, the site’s earliest business was almost certainly a grocery store.

“We love the process of reclaiming this piece of Bremerton’s past and bringing it into the present,” the business said in a statement.

The new location will feature a deli case stocked with ready-to-eat Mediterranean foods along with a small seating area for customers.
