Amanda Cheatham named outreach and education specialist at KPUD

Kitsap Public Utility District has appointed Amanda Cheatham as its new outreach and education specialist, a public-facing role focused on strengthening community understanding of the utility’s services, projects and programs.

Kitsap Public Utility District has appointed Amanda Cheatham as its new outreach and education specialist, a public-facing role focused on strengthening community understanding of the utility’s services, projects and programs.

A Kitsap County native, Cheatham brings nearly 20 years of utility industry experience to the position, including 12 years with KPUD and seven years with Silverdale Water District.

In her new role, Cheatham will represent KPUD at community events and educational initiatives throughout the region while helping expand public outreach and engagement efforts.

KPUD officials said her longstanding ties to the community and extensive institutional knowledge will support the district’s mission of improving communication and public awareness across Kitsap County.
