POULSBO — Kitsap Gastro and Liver Clinic plans to start construction soon on a single-story, 7,380-square-foot medical building at 22095 Quickstep Court NW in Poulsbo’s Olhava area, the city said.

The project includes parking, utilities and landscaping. The city recently issued the grading and building permits, according to its November newsletter.

The independent clinic is led by gastroenterologist Dr. Abimbola Adike, who is board certified in gastroenterology and transplant hepatology. It now sees patients in a suite at 22180 Olympic College Way NW, near the new site, and treats digestive and liver conditions, including colon cancer screening, according to its website.

City permit records list Poulsbo Endoscopy Center LLC as the property owner and Constantine Builders Inc. as the applicant on a related engineering permit filed in September.

The building was among the larger projects in a busy month for permits. The city issued 27 new building permits in September with a combined valuation of about $6.83 million, according to the Building Department.

Monthly permit reports are posted at poulsbo.gov/building-department.
