The Point Casino & Hotel has named Marc Papaj as its new general manager, according to an announcement from Noo-Kayet Investments, the economic development entity of the Port Gamble S’Klallam Tribe.
Gribble joins the Port Angeles-based bank from Ideal Image, where she served as chief people officer and oversaw human resources functions including talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, organizational development, compensation and benefits.
Jones, a tribal member, is the first Port Gamble S’Klallam citizen to lead the organization since it was formed in 2008. He officially began the role March 9, succeeding interim CEO Eric Croft, who will remain with the organization as chief operating officer.
Dr. Chantae Recasner has accepted an offer from the Olympic College Board of Trustees to become the school’s 16th president, following a vote to extend the offer March 17.
